SOUND BATH SESSIONS
At Infinity Body Mind Spirit, we offer transformative Sound Bath sessions designed to promote deep relaxation and holistic well-being.
What is a sound bath?
A Sound Bath is a meditative experience where participants are enveloped in soothing sounds and vibrations produced by various instruments, such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes, and tuning forks. These harmonious sounds aim to calm the mind, relax the body, rebalance the organs (entrainment) and balance the energy centers within.
What to Expect During a Session
During the session, you will lie comfortably on a massage table. The practitioner will conduct a personalized Chakra Assessment to identify any imbalances or blockages in your body's energy centers. This assessment helps tailor the session to your specific needs,. The practitioner will then guide you through a journey of sound, playing instruments that produce resonant tones and frequencies. As these sounds wash over you, they can help quiet the mind, release tension, and promote a state of deep relaxation.
Benefits of Sound Baths
Participants often report a range of benefits from Sound Bath sessions, including:
🔹Reduced stress and anxiety
🔹 Improved sleep quality and promotes deep relaxation and rejuvenation
🔹Emotional release and balance
🔹 Improve Confidence & Focus
These benefits arise as the sound frequencies interact with the body's energy centers, promoting harmony and healing.
Who Can Benefit?
Sound Baths are suitable for individuals of all ages seeking a natural way to manage stress, enhance well-being, or deepen their meditation practice. No prior experience is necessary; simply come with an open mind and a willingness to relax and receive the healing sounds.
Limitations:
While sound baths are generally safe, certain individuals should consult a healthcare professional before participating:
Pregnancy: Especially during the first trimester, it's advisable to consult with your doctor before attending a sound bath.
Heart Conditions: Individuals with pacemakers or other heart-related issues should seek medical advice prior to participation.
Metal Implants: Those with metal plates, pins, or other implants should consult a medical professional to ensure safety during a sound bath.
Epilepsy: Certain sound frequencies may trigger seizures; individuals with epilepsy should consult their doctor before attending.
Severe Mental Health Conditions: Individuals with conditions such as paranoid schizophrenia, psychosis, or bipolar disorder should consult with their healthcare provider before attending a sound bath.
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT): Those with known thrombi should avoid sound baths, as vibrations could potentially dislodge clots.
Open Wounds or Recent Surgeries: It's advisable to wait until wounds have fully healed and sutures have been removed before participating.
Acute Inflammations and Tumors: Individuals with these conditions should consult with their healthcare provider before attending a sound bath.
Sound Sensitivity: If you have heightened sensitivity to sound, consider using earplugs or sitting further from the sound source during the session.
Hearing Impairments: Those with hearing impairments can still benefit from the vibrations but may prefer to sit closer to the instruments to feel the full effect.
Always prioritize your health and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns before participating in a sound bath.
After your Session
To ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your treatment at Infinity Body Mind Spirit, please follow these aftercare guidelines:
Hydration: Drink plenty of water after your session and increase your fluid intake over the next 48 hours. This helps flush out any toxins released during your treatment.
Rest and Relaxation: Allow your body and mind to process the session by engaging in minimal activity post-treatment. This aids in adjusting to the changes in your body's vibration and energy.
Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Refrain from consuming alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours after your appointment, as your body is working to eliminate toxins.
Complementary Care: Our treatments are designed to complement, not replace, any conventional medical care you may be receiving. Please continue to consult with your GP or healthcare professional as needed.
Healing Response: It's normal to experience a 'healing crisis' after treatments like Sound Healing. This may include minor cold symptoms, sleep disturbances, emotional responses, or mild discomfort in areas that are healing. These are natural signs of the body's recovery process.
